Does anyone have a pair or heard a pair of these graphene reference headphones by Emotiva? - comfort - SQ - 2 size insert jack
Thinking of upgrading from my Audio-Technica ATH-M50X cans.

I have a pair. They are comfortable and seem to be made very similar to Sivga headphones. The sound is very detailed and clear. I don't get your reference to the jacks - just change the cable if you don't like it. I replaced mine because I wanted a balanced setup. The GR1s are semi-open type so some sound escapes, unlike your Audio-Technica closed cans. Also the diameter of the ear pads are on the small side. Although I do not carry my headphones around, I must say that the carrying case is the nicest I have seen and I have many headphones. Here is a more professional review if you are interested - www.headphonesty.com/2021/05/review-emotiva-airmotiv-gr1/

I don't get your reference to the jacks - .... My Audio-Technica have a jack where the larger (older style) jack unscrews and has the smaller jack within.
Hmmm, don't think I want 'open type' as it may annoy others not wanting to hear what I'm listening to. Will look at the website again. Thanks for the info.

I’ve found many open type headphones to not be so loud as to annoy people around me. That being said, I always go for the closed type just in case.

I think I'll stick with my Audio-Technica for now. The fact that the open type does not do a good job blocking outside noise and the fact that what I'm listening to could possibly be heard by others in the room won't work for me. Many times I'll be on my computer in the family room and my wife will not want to hear whats playing on the headphones and I'm not going to want to hear what she's watching on the TV. Thanks for all the input.
