I haven't heard Outlaw gear. I have heard Emotiva's BasX amplifiers. I wouldn't risk saving a few bucks and then find that I didn't think the sound adequate. I've done that before with Crown XLS amplifiers, and learned my lesson.

Yeah, the SQ of the A100 I picked up was surprisingly good. Very good.

Cheers, Chad

I’ve had my outlaw model 7200 amp for years. Highly recommended. I would consider the outlaw monoblocks as well. Sounds like a good competition/comparison.

I was expecting the price to be under $400. It makes you think twice

I was expecting the price to be under $400. It makes you think twice 17 months or so ago it would have been.

Prices rise. Check your shorts. If the situation's the same there, consider it a benefit.

Same here…plus they have plenty of dynamic captabilities. Example it is rated at 383 watts peak for 20 milliseconds at 8 ohms. Due to the switching . It gives you up to 80 watts at class AB and the it switches to class G. Very detail natural amplifier and strong low end, plus both RCA connections and XLR. YUMMY,

Cheap Audioman was teasing early this week with a sneak-peak and I guess it was a Monoblock. Been wanting a pair like this, but got tired of waiting and bought the Cambridge duel mono integrated (80w/ch) which is very flexible and pairs perfectly with the CXN. I could break even if I sell CXA & get the monos... but the flexibility of an integrated is hard to ignore. This may be a difficult decision. It never fails, I make a purchase and within a short time what I wanted becomes available.
Chad, I had no interest in the Outlaw M2220 because it looked like it was Class D.
Feel sorry for anyone trying to sell pre-owned Monos now.

YUMMY, Class G switches the power supply rails to a higher voltage on demand. The amp remains fundamentally class AB.
