Not only can we not add attachments anymore, but attachments that were posted are now disappearing, and all that is there now is "<button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button>". KeithL can you shed any light on this issue? I don't really know who to turn to on this.

I think the main issue remains the same as it was years ago, if we upload pictures as attachments, the amount of storage Proboards has to allocate to Emotiva grows (and probably gets expensive). Some years back, when Andrew Robinson was here, he asked us to host our pictures elsewhere, and link to them. But if you just want to attach a pdf, or quick screen screen capture, it’s a pain. I’ve been using Google Photos for a while and have started to link to them on other sites that don’t allow attachments, I did it here for a while, especially in the following thread so I could have a lot of high quality pictures in a single post. emotivalounge.proboards.com/thread/55169/rmc-xmc-get-help-choosingGoogle Photos does not make embedding easy, especially on an iPad, I typically have to go to a 3rd party site to process a link that persists. Since we all love guitars … right??? Let’s test a Google Photo here and see if it lasts. 🤷♂️

Proboards is an “outside entity” that is used by EMOTIVA and others for forums and the limits of their agreement has been exceeded. It’s the charge of the powers that be to straighten it out.

I don't know exactly what's up but we'll take care of it... I get a message that reads something like the forum has exceeded its limits, yet not all are affected.

Lately I have been taking the 'Image Link' when I right button click on a web image.

I know I’ve easily made a link that works, I just forget how to do it, and end up using a page that creates a proper link for me. Just need to learn again and remember … what we’re we talking about?

There's something specifically odd going on... and we're looking into it.
