Good find Bill, I’ll try to check it out this week! (sort of fills the shoes that BitPerfect used to wear, albeit in a different way).

So Bill, finally got around to trying this and I don’t see any change. I’ve tried loading LossLess switcher first, then Apple Music or visa versa, either way Switcher (up on the bar) always reports whatever my MIDI app is set to, as does the DAC in the RMC (in its display). I’m running Monterey (12.4) on a Mini 18 > HDMI or USB > RMC-1, the notes say this should work. What do you see that tells you it’s working? Edit: Actually it sticks at whatever MIDI is set to when I launch switcher. So if MIDI is set to 44/16 when I launch switcher that’s what it reports, if I change MIDI to 96/24, switcher continues to report 44. It also doesn’t matter what rate the song changes to, it continues to report what MIDI was set to when it opened. I also notice mine doesn’t show the audio device the Sound Widget is set to, only the starting MIDI speed.

As the tunes change, the app does too on the taskbar as required. Before, it always stayed at the AudioMidi setting.....

I installed the switcher and played Apple Music - maybe check the Apple Music settings for hires?
I think osf the switcher as kind of an exclusive mode.
Best,

Can I load and run this on an ATV4K? No, this is for macOS. Currently the TV is locked at 48/24, Apple could probably make it bitperfect (as they’ve done with the iPhone and iPad), but I don’t expect we’ll see that (though I’d love to be wrong).

unless the processor you are using outside of the apple ecosystem supports all the apple codecs you have buckley's chance getting it to sound correct..
