My Emotiva A-700 - Seven Channel Power Amplifier is flashing red led for all channels and the Emotiva logo is in Amber colour. I had turned on this amplifier after 2 years, the LEDs are flashing red colour instead of blue.
All my gears(AVRs, Amps and speakers) were disconnected and stored for the last year since the pandemic. Last week I tried connecting all the devices back, but to my bad luck the AVR is not powering on and this A-700 emotiva amp shows error. My other Emotiva amp A-300 is working fine.
I was using Flex pin banana plug for 1 channel, and they had metallic body , so I might have shorted them by mistake causing the fault. I had gone through the manual, and it says that the red LED denotes internal or external faults. I had removed all the connections (AVR and speakers) from the amp and restarted the device multiple times, but the Red Leds are still glowing. So I guess it is an internal fault.
I am from India. The product is 3.5 years old and now out of warranty. I am not comfortable to send the product to service center (~2300kms away), since I dont have the original boxes .
I had used this product very less and I don't want to part with it. Could somebody please guide me on the troubleshooting steps, and whether it can be taken to local technician for repair?

Unplug. Try disconnecting everything from the unit, plug in, power ON and see what happens. If it faults again, it's probably the power supply. Most good electronics techs can repair the pwr supply.
Good luck
Emotiva may ship you a Power Supply if needed.

Thanks for your reply.
I have already tried disconnected everything from the amp and tried restarting.
I will take it to a local technician. Will share the updates.
