Anyone having issues with the XMC-1 inadvertently switching to another HDMI preset. My pre-set are Cable on 1, iPhone streaming on 2, and DVD on 3.
The unit just started to behave erratically switching from 1 to 5 or 2 to 5 while I am using it to watch TV or stream shows.
The unit was just repaired damaged by a power outage; replace power supply, reflashed ECC board and updated firmware. My board is a 1080p HDMV board version 4.1
Any ideas on what is causing this?
Thanks.

Thanks. Running the XMC since Oct. 2014 and NEVER have I had it do that. Must be a consequence of whatever happened with your power problems (whatever they were). Perhaps additional damage that got missed with the initial repair and it would never behave that way unless there’s a failure somewhere along the path. Who fixed it?

Are you sure the remote isn't defective and randomly throwing out an HDMI 5 command? Try pointing it away when you're not using it.

It sounds like either a CEC thing or an IR flooding thing... but IR flooding is usually more random.
Try power cycling everything and see if it stops.
