  A great loss indeed. Still, I often fall asleep š“ at night listening to an original Startrek episode with an earbud or pillow speaker. Iāve seen them so many times I can āseeā them and enjoy without watching! |

Watching Nichelle Nichols on TV inspired me to start paying more attention to the young black ladies in my high school classes. A rewarding experience that turned out to be, too! I never had the guts to ask any of them out in '68, '69, and '70, but got to be friends with some. Those were the years of the miniskirt, by the way, and I found legs so distracting that I was lucky to get through some of my classes...
