22Hz... 29Hz... Still boring black... On a side note: -3dB @ 29Hz is still pretty impressive for a mid sized tower costing $1899.00/pr.

Interesting that the O.P. took the longest time to “get it”.

I'm willing to accept their claim that it was a typo. I still maintain that changing the spec without notification is dirty pool.

That's a small percentage of users/customers. Do a press release? How many other companies change specs and actually make an announcement? (besides, they already have a means of notification - you).

They would notify it on the webpage of the product. "This product was previously incorrectly specified with bass extension to 22hz. The correct specification is 29hz @-3db. We apologize for the error." They can also put it on the News section of the web site. Then if anybody has already placed an order for it, they should email an update to their email address and allow them the opportunity to contact Emotiva to cancel their order. I would think these retractions are common sense to provide protection for Emotiva and also to update their potential customers.

Maybe Lester Holt could do an exposé on Dateline in a two part special.

They could have done what the financial institutions and corporate reports do... Call it a "forward looking statement". They all do it. Ranging from IBM to facebook Meta.

Or maybe 29 has decided to identify as 22.

Or maybe 29 has decided to identify as 22. 22hz is the T3+'s preferred frequency response.

I hope they don't show up for at least a few more days... our new heavy duty shredder hasn't arrived yet . They would notify it on the webpage of the product. Well if it is as bad as the accusations make it out to be, you're gonna need a bigger shredder! Maybe something nuclear! (I can say that on Proboards but on FB it would be yanked for promoting death and destruction and they'd find some way to mention Covid while they were at it)
