I recently bought a Panasonic OLED TB (TH-65JZ2000H this is a Hong Kong model), and I cannot get the ARC to work. I am using the correct input/output. I have eARC turned off. I have CEC turned on on the TV and the XMC2. I have turned them both off and on a million times. I have tried every possible combination I can think. Any ideas?

Unplug power cord of tv. Switch off rear power switch of XMC-2. Unplug the other HDMI cables for your sources. Wait at least 5 minutes. Plug tv power in, turn on tv, wait for it to boot up. Switch on power for XMC-2, if it goes into a standby mode first then wait 1 minute before doing anything else, then turn it on and wait a full 2 minutes AFTER it fully boots up before doing anything. Go to the ARC input on the XMC-2. Try using an app on the tv for ARC. The above steps will reintroduce the XMC-2 to the tv. If yours is like mine, the tv will "notice" the XMC-2 and ask if you want to set it up. The waiting periods are important, firstly to completely drain all power from HDMI. Secondly, for all internal booting processes to fully complete and for HDMI handshaking to complete. HDMI sucks, so we gotta do what we gotta do to help it along. If this doesn't work, then go to the Owner's thread for more info and help. emotivalounge.proboards.com/thread/56879/rmc-owners-thread-post-firmware?page=390&scrollTo=1097573
