Sound quality of the BasX MC1-13.2?

OK - this is Emotiva's entry level processor. How does it SOUND (in both stereo and surround) vs. Emotiva's pricer offerings? In other words, do the XMC & RMC models actually offer better sound quality or merely more features?

I've found the BasX stereo gear to hit WAY above it's price class. Is the same true with the BasX MC1-13.2? Also, how does the BasX processor stack up against competition from the likes of Outlaw Audio & Parasound?
