Pardon me if this is repetitive to something already said elsewhere, but as things tend to go the discussions of new products and upgrades tend to birth threads with many pages. If someone would be so kind I would appreciate a link to original announcement of all of this. Been away from this space for a while but getting back into it and would like to catch up.
I did catch in one of the threads that there was note of changing the DACs from AKM to TI. Curious as to why and which parts, particularly given that word has it that AKM has finally started to ramp up production after the disastrous fire almost two years ago that totally destroyed their production capabilities. Also, also saw questions about DSP. Sticking with ADI/SHARC architecture or switching to TI or something else? Of course, as always, with DSP and DAC, implementation is key.
