Happy to get some advice on this: I hope to use REW as a better and more visual way of refining my filter presets on an Emotiva XMC-2. I have not made any measurements in REW, but by exporting my filter presets from the XMC to an USB stick and then trying to load the filters into REW (with the XMC-1 as equalizer).
When loading the files into REW, the software gives me an error message, claiming that “0.0” is not a number in the <headroom> section of the .emo file, and refuses to load the file. If I manually edit the “0.0” to an integer, say “0”, it imports the files completely. But fiddly to do this manually to 11+ channels every time.
Anyone got an idea on how to circumvent this issue?
