6.5mm or 9.0mm spades for DR1 amplifier

Hello all,

What size spade best fits the DR1 amp? I would measure myself but I'm not home and want to get the speaker cables on order. Thanks in advance!

I would contact Emotiva support for that via email or a phone call. They will give you the correct answer as they have those amps on hand and can measure if they don’t already know the answer.

Reconsider stranded, bare, wire, speaker, connections over spades.
The measurement you look for becomes a non-issue. Direct stranded, loudspeaker connections are highly resistant to loosening up. They are one less link in the connection chain. All good speaker wire, is ribbed, to determine the positive side to keep all your speakers in phase.

Just to address the original post?
6.5mm is just over 1/4" and tiny for such an application.
9mm is smaller than 3/8 and would not fit on such a post.....
