For the BasX MC1, I wish to config an HDMI input to receive audio only, no video. I have an Oppo UDP and I use one of its HDMI outputs to send video only directly to my TV, and the second Oppo HDMI out to the MC1 for audio processing. When I do the Source setup on the MC1 to No Video source, the MC1 basically disabled the entire port. Is this correct? Will there be an update to handle this situation?

I don't have an MC-1. Reading the manual, it is looking like the descriptions are vague.
I interpret Video Source to be an HDMI Input, and Audio Source to be non-HDMI Inputs. So this statement from the manual: "Video Source - With HDMI Inputs the video that is displayed always comes from the selected HDMI input. With Audio Inputs, you may choose to display a blank video screen, or video from a different Video Input." means to me that if you disable a "Video Source" then that would be the HDMI Input, and the expected other change would be to use an Audio Source for audio assigned to the current virtual HDMI Input.
"Choosing to display a blank video screen" is what you would get if you disable the HDMI Output.
Does having active video from the HDMI Input disturb something with your setup? I wouldn't think there would be a problem if the video is coming from the other OPPO HDMI Output cable directly to the tv.
Also, it's been a while (years) since I checked this out with my OPPO 105, but when the secondary HDMI Output is setup for Audio Only, doesn't that disable video from being output?

Thanks. Basically, I hope that I could config an HDMI input port on the MC1 to be a audio only port. As you mentioned, it is not disturbing my setup. But the MC1 is an audio processor, so it seems to be logical to be able to config an input to have only audio source. On the OPPO, mine is an UDP 93, I can config its HDMI output port as Video only. Thanks ttocs.

Strictly speaking the HDMI signal is a multiplexed audio and video signal. There is no such thing as a true "HDMI audio signal". So, if you "disable video" on an HDMI output, you are still getting the equivalent of a blank screen as a placeholder for the video portion of the signal. Note that actually disabling an HDMI output, for example by "switching off" one of the outputs on the MC1, is NOT the same as sending a blank screen. A blank screen is a video image where all the pixels are the same color... This is not the same as no video signal at all (most TVs will switch to a screensaver, or shut off entirely, usually after complaining for a while, if they detect no signal at all on the selected input.)
