I’m not sure if this is the correct place to ask? By all means, direct me if not.
I’ve owned several pieces of Emotiva gear over the past 10 years. I use my XPS-1 and after 10 various phono amps I have yet to find one that is as good as the XPS, at least for $200 and under.
I have my BasX A-100 and it’s been sitting. I was given a large parcel of different caps from various well named companies. Out of boredom I figured I’d try swapping some out on the A-100. If anything I receive from it is as small as improving my solder skills – then it is a win. I do not think they will make one difference. I’m very skeptical of cap upgrades unless the cap is dead or it’s for speakers.
That out of the way--Is there a place to get a part’s list for the A-100?

I would give Emotiva a call or send them an email and ask if they could provide you the schematics. That should give you a "parts list" to use to replace caps, resistors, etc with good quality parts available from Mouser and other on line parts vendors.

Thanks. I'll try that.

May depend on WHERE in the circuit the capacitor is used.
I Like 'Tier 1' caps in the PS, but that's for reasons of quality and reliability.
But elsewhere in a circuit? Maybe those Directly IN the signal path may matter?

Power Supply caps matter, just from wear over time. Some believe in using film capacitors over their electrolytic counterparts in the lower voltage key areas. More of a tweak. How much is hear say vs. Science fact maybe up for debate. But yes get that documentation from Emotiva. As long as you know what you are doing too, it could be a fun project.

Vac? I am not going to look for it right this minute, but Nelson Pass wrote some stuff about PS caps......His claim was they should last 20 years or 30 years. I can't remember off hand. My Kenwood amp sitting over there (pointing) has ELNA caps which are north of 30 years on. closer to 40.....
