Anyone have any issues with distortion via coax inputs? I have two different XMC-2s (family room & my office) fed from two different coax sources (Sonos connect & matrix spdif2), and on both of them, there is a distinct increase in thd when compared to level-matched feeds from a usb source (same Linux pc that had fed the matrix spdif2). At first I thought I had almost blown a woofer, but I found that switching to the same song on my pc fed from usb eliminated the problem. I level matched both sources and confirmed it with multiple tracks. Weirdest, when I reduced volume at the source (maybe ~20db down from 100%), and then turned the xmc2s volume up to match the original volume, the distortion in the coax went away.
Is this a known issue? Has this been addressed via firmware? Anyone else experience this (or am I just lucky/crazy)?
