I have searched for a while now and cannot find an answer or a member with the same issue.
I have an RMC-1 and when trying to set up Dirac the mic does not seem to pick up sound. I have watched and followed the you tube guide but the level meter that show to the right of the gain line for the mic never shows. I also have a umik-1 and plugging this in changes nothing. If I go further it give me a message that the sound is too low.
Any ideas?

If I go further it give me a message that the sound is too low. Any ideas? Are you plugging in the Umik before you start Dirac and then given the opportunity to choose the Umik when it does start? If you don't choose the proper mic the program may default to the computer's built in mic if present. You will also have to choose the proper mic cal file before proceeding. |

Try posting in the Dirac thread for more possible visibility and responses: The Official Dirac Live Thread . . . .Also, more info would help, like are you using Mac or Windows, which version of Windows, which version of Dirac? Please see the first few posts in the Dirac thread for helpful links to info. Reboot processor (cold boot, no power for a few minutes) and computer. If Windows, look at the sound card settings. |

Yes, I plug in the mic first, start the program, select the mic, but when going to the next step it just doesn't seem to pick up sound.
