It's the prequel to Godzilla Minus 1, so definitely watch it first.

I enjoyed the movie very much, I had no expectations and it was a movie that was more about plot and intrigue then the typical mess that has been on the silver screen for what seems to be forever.
Not sure it was worthy of a purchase, you may find that it is. I will go back and watch the extra disc as that is where I find most of the value in films like this. Action movies benefit from physical media as well. The sound quality was premium for sure!

We watched it last night and I can say it was very interesting to say the least.
Overall, I liked quite a bit.
We streamed it and the surround sound was actually pretty good.
