Don’t know if IEMs belong here, but best I could do. Certainly some here use AirPods and/or AirPods Pro, I got a pair of Pros about a year and a half ago, it was the first Apple in ear product that (mostly) stayed in, and wasn’t uncomfortable (to me). One thing I noticed over time is that one of my AirPods would create a low level pulsing hiss. Sometimes I could shutdown certain apps (or all of them) and it would go away, other times I had to reboot my iPad (where I mostly use them). Finally decided to Google it and found that a certain batch are probably defective, and there’s a service program to exchange them, this page has the details. It doesn’t appear to matter if they’re out of warranty, though they do say they will check the serial number to confirm they’re in the bad batch. Unfortunately my convenient Bestbuy doesn’t seem to be an authorized exchange point, so I’ll have to plan a longer trip (20 miles across town) to the Apple Store, but worth it for the fix.

Thanks for this post. I haven’t had my set as long and have never encountered such a problem. I always like to know where an when a product I own has faltered. My Pro’s stay in.
