Does anyone know if it is safe to use an XLR splitter to take the Left and Right sub channels to a single XLR for one sub? It seems like Dirac does not like only having one sub when setting the LR Sub to mono and using the left output for the sub. I figured I could fool Dirac into thinking it has both L&R with the Splitter, but I am not sure if back feeding the signal into the other channel could damage the processor.

Why not just plug your sub into the center sub output and set it to mono and set LR to none?

I have a center sub. I have two subs, front and rear. Rear is set for LFE. Front is smaller for music.

I think you're talking about when using only the Left Sub Output as Mono, but Dirac sees a phantom Right Subwoofer, correct? The EmotivaDiracNetworkInterfaceBox just needs an update file. Emotiva can send you a update file for the EDNIB to make that Dirac issue go away. If I can find the email they sent me a few years ago I'll let you know if I might be able to help before Monday.

Yes it does. As well as kicking back an error and not letting me move forward. I will look around and see if it is posted anywhere here on the board. Thx.
