I actually met Gabe Kaplan at a local bowling alley a couple of years after Kotter went off the air. It was on a quiet Sunday evening and I don’t think many people recognized him (he had a beard). I interrupted him briefly to get an autograph. He was exceptionally nice and talkative. He said he was in the area for celebrity golf tournament. I still remember his lime green sweatpants, lol.

A childhood show that I was allowed to stay up to watch was the “Six Million Dollar Man”. Boy did I really like Astronaut, Colonel Steve Austin, the bionic man!!!  |
