Well,it's 6/18 and I'm sitting here patiently waiting for the C1+ to become available as the site still says it won't be in stock until June....less than two weeks from now it will be July. It appears to be the only Airmotive speaker that's still not available and that includes the B1+. I really want the C1+ to be paired with my modified Michaura M55's in my basement HT as I think it will be a great match-up.

Well, I feel like a dope. I just assumed the C1+ wasn't available yet since they still had the message "Not in stock until June" and then yesterday I realized the cart was available to order it....DUH . Anyway, I ordered it today and I'm thrilled to death. I see Emotiva has been moving a ton of speakers with the reduced prices.

It is so funny when I first saw this post for a fraction of a second I thought of a C++ compiler. Why?

I've only had the C1+ for several days but I clearly made the right choice as I'm simply amazed by the detail and clarity in vocals in particular. For quite a few years I had been using an AuraSound LSC-535 CC which was highly-regarded in the mags when it was released a little over twenty years ago but the C1+ is simply in another league. Now I'm waiting for the T1+ to become available again so I'll have Emo's across my front stage.

Well,I missed out on what is seemingly the last of the T1+'s two weeks ago so in their place I decided to get the BasX A3 now instead of waiting six months which would've been when the T1+'s would've been paid off. I have to say the A3 has my modified Michaura M55's sounding better than ever and it has me wondering if missing out on the T1+ was a blessing in disguise.
Yesterday I listened to classical, jazz, rock, etc for three-four hours and the M55's sounded sweet with everything I threw at them....thanks to the A3 elevating them to their full potential. Their sound has always been upfront and detailed (with a tinge of warmth) but now there's more power in their delivery. The M55's had a mini-cult following around twenty years ago on some of the audio forums and I followed the pack and modified my pair with new tweeters along with new caps and resistors. I'll still be waiting patiently for the new Airmotiv line to be released but I'm no longer in a big hurry to get new speakers after what the A3 has done to my system.

After hearing the noticeable improvement in my Michaura M55's with the addition of the BasX A3 I was intrigued to see how my nearly 25 year old AuraSound LSW-828M large bookshelf speakers would sound with nearly twice the power they were ever given before. The LSW-828M's are six ohm and they feature a Linaeum monopole ribbon tweeter and an 8" Peerless poly woofer. I always loved them for HT as the 8" woofer packs a punch which brings movies to life. They're quite good for music as well but they're slightly less detailed and upfront than the Michaura's. After several hours of listening to them being powered by the A3 I was somewhat surprised that I actually preferred them overall to the Michaura's as that 8" woofer made it's presence known like never before...thanks to the A3. For HT it's just a wall of full-bodied sound which the Michaura's with their dual 5" woofers just can't match.
Over the last couple of weeks I've been casually looking at tower speakers and the KLH Kendall's really got my attention. I love them in the walnut veneer and I liked what I heard in the limited sound demo's on youtube. I may still get them eventually but at the moment I'm quite happy with the Aura LSW-828/BasX A3 combo.

I finally decided to take advantage of the deal on the B2+ so they're now occupying the mains position in my rig. I'm still looking for end-game speakers but I have to say I'm really enjoying the B2+s for music AND HT as I love the detailed mids and highs which these little guys deliver.IMO, they're a steal for $359 and I thought I should act before they're no longer available. I now have three Emo products in my system...the B2+,BasX A3, and C1+. I'm in no hurry to choose which way I'll go in regards to my end-game speakers and I'm thoroughly enjoying the B2+'s at the moment.
