Hello I have recently started trying to set up my middle atlantic 42u essex rack with all of my home theater stuff. Currently I am running into a issue that seems to compound as I go further up the rack. At the bottom I am putting my XPA5 then XPA-2 then Basx I am trying to tight fit each component with very little gap between them on the front and blanking panels to give air flow between all of which have the full depth rack ears from emotiva. The problem I am running into is that these rack ears are bumping into the blanking panels as the blanking panels and the rack ears both have flanges in the way this then either forces me out of alignment with the rack and forcing me to move up a few spaces or screws and holes do not line up... Anyone else experience this? Do I not have the rack ears on correctly? Should I use different blanking panels than the ones supplied by Middle Atlantic?
Any help would be fantastic I can post pictures if need be

I don't know if it applies in your case but I had an issue where some screws on the bottom front edge of my processor were hitting the top of a blanking panel that had the top and bottom edges folded over about a 1/4" or so. Removing the screws and/or using a Dremel to cut away the areas on the blanking panel that interfere fixes it. All spacing whether left open or filled with a blanking panel should be in increments of 1RU.
