I recently moved in mid July and my RMC 1L was all packed up (original packaging) since then. Today I set it up with just the DVD player installed and now when I hit any number the buttons on the remote, it just continues on. For instance, up volume keeps increasing the volume even when I take my finger off the remote. I went to get the FW version for this post (3.2) and low and behold everything is working fine. Weird.

Weird. Instead of 'remote sticking' I might call this 'command queuing'. What seems to happen sometimes is that the processor gets busy, but its ability to receive commands from the remote doesn't stop, so the commands get lined up waiting for the processor to do something with them. When the processor gets freed up, it starts processing the commands from the remote, and if your finger was on volume for a bit, then there are several increments ready to be acted on, hence it appears that the remote is still sending them, but really they're already at the processor. With older firmware we used to see this more often, I'd say it happens much less with recent releases, though can occasionally still happen. Glad your issue seems to be resolved.
