Is there a way to control Tidal running on a Mac mini using an iPhone?
After getting frustrated with running Tidal on an iPad through a CXN streamer, I decided to use a Mac mini for Tidal. I’ve connected the Mac directly to my schiit dac via usb. Tidal is now flawless. No skips, stops or other nonsense. However I’d love to be able to control the web player with my iPhone instead of having a mouse and keyboard on my couch. I know it’s a first world problem but it would be much appreciated if it were possible. Is it possible or am I just asking too much?

At the least you can use VNC to remote control the Mac’s screen, there’s an iPhone VNC client, and you can configure the Mac for remote access. However, on a phone that won’t be great. Some music / streaming apps (like the Apple Music App, and Audirvana) have remote clients that have a well built phone interface, might Tidal have one?

I own Audirvana, you can link your Tidal account through it and use the app on your phone, another cost though....

Creimes, I recently took your advice and subscribed to Audiravana. I couldn't be happier. Love the remote feature, but also believe Audirvana improves the sound quality of my files and what I stream through Tidal. Finally, just today I got an email that Tidal is reducing my monthly subscription rate to $10.99, so the added cost was negated. How often does anyone reduce prices?
