The wife and I saw Escape to Margaritaville this afternoon. The show was great and it ended with a tribute to JB. The whole cast and the audience with a rousing rendition of Margaritaville.
Very heart warming. 😊😊

In honor of Jimmy Buffett's passing and my Dad's birthday I have to tell you all a story. My best friend Ed called my one day saying: "I got Buffett tickets, you want to go." So we pile into my car (hatchback) and go down to the show early because we hear its fun. It's my first Buffett show, but listened to him a lot in college. We had a six pack or maybe two in a small cooler. We get down to Camden, NJ and witness the spectacle that is the party before the show. The beers disappear fast and we walk into Camden to get a case. We proceed to hang out and enjoy the pregame. We chat with people passing by, sharing our beverages and tossing the empties into the hatch. This goes on for a few hours before the show. Of coarse, its finally time for the show (fruitcakes tour I believe) which was awesome. The next day I'm cleaning out my hatch with my dad being outside while I'm unloading all the empty beer cans. The look on his face was priceless. I just looked up and said "The're not all mine." Literally had about 3 cases of empties in my hatch.
Happy Birthday Dad!
And Rest in Peace Jimmy Buffett. Thanks for the music and memories.
It was the first of 7 tours I saw him on and I wish it had been more.
