I ask for your help. From the Emotiva side, the Dirac procurement option for the XMC-1 processor has disappeared.
Where can I get the right Dirac Live 1.x software?
Thanks

Well not wanting to be a downer here. I thought I inquired about this recently in June this year. Chandler at Emotiva told me support on the XMC-1 for DIRAC was no more. Enclosed is a message I sent someone as I too was interested in another XMC-1. Doesn't hurt to check with Emotiva Support, but I got from support sales, in June 2023.

I believe the issue is that Dirac no longer supports version 1. Emotiva isn't really involved in the crux of the issue. Since the software license must be validated online by Dirac in order to run, it just won't work. If you had Dirac filters loaded in an XMC-1 prior to support being dropped by Dirac, the filters would still work on the XMC-1. You just couldn't change them. There's also the issue of whether some processing happens server-side at Dirac in Sweden, and of course that would not work either.

This thread is a perfect example of how fleeting the life is of an audio video processor.
If you’re lucky (no matter who builds it,) you get 8 or nine years of everything you hoped for the thing and time marches on and the next thing you know you’d be lucky to get 200 bucks for it as it falls out of favor.
Emotiva to their credit gave it a great shot with the whole modular construction concept, but as anybody can see it’s I’ll fated in terms of the whole package.
No big deal really it’s all part of the game you’re gonna spend this kind of money you’re gonna have to expect to open your wallet to keep up.
