Wife and I were front row center stage for another outstanding concert from PG.
His voice is maybe 85% of what it used to be but he still knocks it out of the park.
As you'd expect from a PG show, killer visuals, top notch musicians, excellent sound, and lots of energy.
Peter Gabriel Tony Levin Manu Katche David Rhodes 4 other excellent backing musicians

Tony is back to using a Fender? No more Chapman Stick? Great photos, thanks!

Well done, I am jealous... Did you bring earplugs? 🤯 We did for back up but over the last 20+ years his concerts usually come in around 95 dB. Last night I measured 95 dB peaks for most of the show.
I know, anything over 90 dB sustained.... Scott

Saw him on the Up tour in Philly. Highlight other than PG was Blind Boys From Alabama as part of the opening acts.

Great pictures… Never any shortage of eye candy when it comes to watching a show put on by Peter Gabriel for sure I picked up secret world, live a year or two ago, as part of delving back into Peter Gabriel trying to figure out what I like more or less about his performances. After that, I didn’t figure out very much, but I did decide that growing up live is my favorite of the show if you can get your hands on mostly from an audio standpoint.

Saw him on the Up tour in Philly. Highlight other than PG was Blind Boys From Alabama as part of the opening acts. That was a great tour as well! I was at Madison Square with 13th row seats for that tour. Blind Boys did an incredible job live; even their studio work was really compelling.
Cool side bar, I was seated in row 13 and in walks Paula Cole with 2 huge bodyguards and sat down right in front of me. I was dying to say hi but didn't want to bother her. Sure wish I'd gotten to see the Secret World Tour with her on backing vocals. Scott

It blew me away to go back and find out that growing up live was released and recorded in 2003.
Here Comes the Flood is my moment from that performance. Peter going solo….. I just don’t need anything else for all the fanfare

Tony is back to using a Fender? No more Chapman Stick? Great photos, thanks! Oh he broke out the Chapman for a couple tunes. Scott I think Tony mostly plays a Music Man bass (who Leo Fender was involved with in its early days), but does still regularly pick up the Chapman. It’s been a few years, but I saw the PG / Sting tour with Levin in 2016, and saw him again with King Crimson in 2019 (as well as the Adrian Belew incarnation of KC in 1984, and the PG secret World tour in 1993). I’ve looked at trying to see this Peter Gabriel tour, but dates and locations aren’t working with my travel plans. Glad to hear it’s a good show!

I'm a big fan of his work since the early 80s and was one of my earliest inspirations (aside from Geddy Lee)
I don't have a shot of the 12 string stick but he brought it out for a couple tunes.

Scott Tony is the consummate ‘Low End’ player, with Bass & Double Bass, Chapman Stick, Bass Pedals, and even low voice on some songs (I heard he played tuba too!). I agree, he’s really been inspirational as a bassist, 1980’s Discipline with KC is an exceptional album that really brought him to the forefront.

Well done Simpleman..because of another commitment I was unable to get to this show but my co -workers’ report was that the show was out of sight. Front row seats…never in my life have I had that experience! Have to ask as I have been to many concerts…were the ears ringing ?

Front row seats…never in my life have I had that experience! Have to ask as I have been to many concerts…were the ears ringing ? I brought ear plugs just in case but didn't use them. On my dB meter phone app, I showed 95 dB peaks for most of the show with a few times hitting 100. We were 4' from the array of subs in front of the stage too.
PG always has excellent sound quality and his concerts have never hurt my ears. I've seen some Motorhead, Maiden etc shows that were retarded loud, even from 40+ rows back. Scott
