Emo has used ToneWinner for many years to manufacture processors. Lots of reviews on the AT-300. They are legit, but still on the budget bottom end of separate pre/pros with no frills and a so-so room correction.

….. Well, at least I’ll keep it in mind for down the road if age and/ or problems make it necessary to replace the XMC-1.
My crocodile tears about not being able to get one without the other(meaning the Atmos bloat to me) At least, if the price is sharp, it will be an equitable trade to end up with both, even though the latter will never get used.
