AXPONA 2024 tickets just went on sale!
I bought mine, so I'm set for the weekend.
Will EMOTIVA be there? They were in 2023, and they gave away a LOT of goodies in the Raffle Drawings!!
Yes, I know there's not a "No" answer to the poll. We want to know who is going.

I usually buy tickets at the door but I’ll be there. It’s about 40 min from my house.

When we get close to AXPONA time, we can do what we did last year and exchange contact info amongst those who'd like to meet up.
In the hotel there's a restaurant where we can meet for breakfast before AXPONA opens. It's a very busy place!! You can give Paul McGowan your question when you go through the buffet area, and then get his video answer on your phone you left at his table on the way back! (He ate there each day last year.)

Have fungi's ... I'm gonna sit this one out. Got saturated with paleo nostalgia and techno hyperbole last year. I hear Magnepan has some new capacitors to listen to. Maybe next year ...

Probably the best Axpona ever. The exhibitors were not afraid to mix up the playlist and crank up the volume.
Lots of great stuff but the one speaker that I could consider replacing my salons with were the Perlisten S7t. The other stuff was either way too expensive or while great couldn’t unseat my Revels.
I’m not big on spending a lot of amps but the Luxman and Simaudio would be on mg shortlist.
Emotiva’s preamp and amp was there in the SVS room. That demo was one of the more impressive ones at the show given its price point.
Good stuff.

I think you need a No option... I think it’s similar to “No Regrets” with an RSVP, it’s about positive responses, or “I don’t care if you’re not coming”. |

Perhaps a No option is like "I don't care if you are going". No interest. No regrets. A No option can establish a local level of interest. I think these shows were worth more before the internet, and when there were more retail dealers instead of 'shop online' for everything. It occurs to me - None of my current components were bought at a local retail store. All were purchased online, and shipped to my home. I haven't purchased an audio component at a local retail store in over 20 years. Going to an audio store used to be fun. |
