Creimes is spot on if you want standalone monos, also with a warranty. Used never has one, also the UPA1 and XPA1L will undoubtedly be close to re cap time, and additional expense. I would always buy new if no additional work needed to be done is desired. When buying used unless really new-ish assume it is going to need something. Heck the BAS-X Monos are a good buy too. New with warranty too. Thinking about one for a center channel myself, or the Outlaw. Options are nice. I can't believe people are of the mindset that a 10yr old amplifer is 'undoubtedly' close to re cap time. That is absolutely asinine. Electronics from the 1970's aren't always even in need of a re cap. UPA-1 or XPA-1L are barely even 15yrs old at this point in time.

Interesting I was unaware of an affiliation between Marantz and outlaw until just now when I visited the website, they list the Marantz 7705
