The Marantz SR 8012 is listed having 780 watts of power. It is connected to XPA-5 for LCR + 2 side surrounds. So the receiver powers the rest of 6 speakers, which are 2 rear surrounds , 4 height speakers. How much power will these 6 speakers get, is it 780/6=130 watts?

Looking at the manual I see at the bottom of the specs how much power the SR8012 consumes, which is 780 Watts. So this isn't its output.
The output ratings Marantz lists is 140 Watts per channel into 8Ω. I don't know if this is with two channels driven or all channels driven, but I would suspect that it's just two channels driven seeing how it's written in the specs.
Either way there should be enough power for Surrounds and Heights. My 8 channel amp is rated a lot less into 8Ω and has no trouble with the 8 speakers connected to it.

Audioholics tested it, you can find the comprehensive results here: www.audioholics.com/av-receiver-reviews/marantz-sr8012-receiver/#toc-h2-4Their conclusion (as far as power output goes): "The SR8012 was able to muster and impressive 96 watts/ch at 1% THD and 86 watts/ch at 0.1% THD with 7CH driven. This should be plenty of power for all but the largest and most demanding home theaters."

When driving 11 speakers by itself(without external amp), the power per channel is likely not enough. My normal volume level when watching atmos movies are around -15 to -10. After connecting the XPA-5 to the front 5 speakers, -20 is what I have, not just louder, but with more punch for certain movies with lots of actions and effects. Again, I wonder if better effects(coming from rest of 6 speakers) will result when I add an external amp...
