Focusing my purpose why I am even here toward 2024

2024 is around the corner ready or not. What do I have in store ahead for me? Challenges that fulfill me. That means IT support will come to an end. Since it is a dead end, literally, and time is at a premium always, but even more so in 2024 where it starts.

Having people influence me to push hard, and grow. I gravitate to young people that have the chops, and are always dedicated to the cause of great Audio and Video. My friend Ryan could be my Son. I would be a proud Father indeed, and yes I know his Father too, and we cannot get over his dedication and skills, and just great guy. I used to run cameras along with him at church. He would comment my compositions and pushes and pulls and getting the shot when director didn't anticipate was my claim to fame at that church.

The crap position on stage camera. Camera 5. Nobody could capitalize on the angles and shots like I could, and would. I would get solos and the sheet music and so much more where most stand doing blind mindless pulls and pushes. Ryan ran the dolly camera mostly. Now is the King of Lights, and he is amazing. I kept getting better because I hung around others that inspire me, and that makes me want to be better at it. I live on feedback, and experimentation.

The biggest line from my camera work from doing Camera 5. Holy "!##$" how did Chen get that shot???!! Quick switch to him.

2024 has to be more of what is exciting and motivating for me. I am at the age I can do whatever I want. I owe nobody nothing!

It needs to be about adventure and new people, and maybe even new places. Having no kids or significant other leaves me many options.

My faith is stronger than ever almost dying twice in 2 years. But I am still here. My Mom's Birthday is coming up soon. My passion and heart come from her. If you want to meet my Mom, you could just talk to me since so many say I am my Mom. A nice complement I wear proudly always.


I think my message to all in 2024 is get inspired, let the ones that inspire you push you to greater heights, and find adventures you have never experienced. 2023 is gone. So what are you going to do for 2024? I hope whatever it is, it brings you joy and happiness, and peace.

It is so important. Now I am a top performer in my field, and that is not lost on my leadership, but they know I want so much more. They don't want to lose me, but my growth cannot bare idle. I appreciate you and thank you for reading my post. It is never about things. It is about people, and where I fit and flourish with them. 2024 will end much, but it will start so much more. Give an idea, my programs that I had created, and wanted to do more, intimidated my leadership, but they came around, mostly.

But they lack commitment, and I don't. My lead is so scared losing me because I am not like everyone else. Satisfied with the status quo.

So I am branching out, and finding my place. And hopefully peace.
