Trying to pair a bluetooth speaker to the BASX MC-700 and having any luck! Couldn't find the procedure for pairing in the manual. Can anyone provide assistance and the procedure for pairing? Thanks & Happy New Year Jay

Thanks & Happy New Year Jay Not sure about the procedure...but it looks like you would have to use the optional Bluetooth module....

Isn't the MC-700 Bluetooth module one-way only? My understanding is that it allows streaming "TO" the MC-700, but not "FROM".

"Optional Bluetooth 3.0 module includes support for full CD quality audio from mobile devices with Apt-X™." Input only so you can't use the MC-700 to output to some bluetooth speaker unless you split and connect a external transmitter to the analog outputs on the MC-700.

That is correct... With Bluetooth the two "directions" are separate... So far, several of our products have Bluetooth inputs, but none have Bluetooth outputs... This is something we've thought about so it could be a feature on some future products. Two other things to note: 1. The internal circuitry has to support the audio signal paths involved. So you can't "upgrade a Bluetooth input to a Bluetooth output by plugging in a different module" (unless that option was included in the original design) 2. There are a whole bunch of outboard Bluetooth transmitters... and devices that can be both transmitters and/or receivers. So you definitely COULD connect the outputs of the MC-700 to one of these. (You also have the benefit of a separate little box which you can potentially locate so as to avoid dead spots and interference.) Isn't the MC-700 Bluetooth module one-way only? My understanding is that it allows streaming "TO" the MC-700, but not "FROM". "Optional Bluetooth 3.0 module includes support for full CD quality audio from mobile devices with Apt-X™."
