Emotiva processor and rock solid in the same sentence?  If that's a top need, you should look elsewhere. As already said, we trade some reliability for sound quality here. |

Well, I purchased the XMC-2, after a decent trade-in deal on my original XMC. My bar is fairly low, asking that Dirac work, 2-4K is plenty for the next 3-5yrs IMO, and the processor does all the audio formats I am looking for and did well on the original unit. I am now in the process of setup, connected my Oppo and all the amps/subs/speakers, and was very pleased with my first movie experience. I now will get reconfigure my rack as other items have changed, and will cable manage, and get all sources working correctly one at a time.
Thanks for everyones input. If you are an XMC-2 owner, I may post some questions, as the search and find on over 400 pages in the owners thread is a tough slog. Appreciate your patience and help.
