In ear buds are low profile and sound pretty good (currently using Sennheisers) but I can never get a good fit with the interchangeable rubber plugs. For all the flying I do, I wonder if there are low profile over ears that sound halfway decent? I don't need audiophile quality but slim and easy to pack are must haves.
Any other flyers out there find a happy medium between ear buds and huge over ear cans?
Thank you! Scott

I once started to look into this, but then gave up because I just they don’t fly enough…… If I remember correctly, it was Bose that addressed the issue of noise inside the plane, which is the biggest problem, especially if you pass out resting your head on the inside of the cabin, and you get all the noise from the engines. If I would’ve look at it again, I would have one set of headphones that are specific to air travel, and nothing else.

I don't need pricey or audiophile units and I'm not concerned about noise cancellation at all since I can't sleep on planes.
I just want to have low profile, over ear phones so I can watch movies or listen to music on long flights. I wish the in ear ones fit my ear holes better.
My Sennheisers sound great and are very compact, blu tooth units.
I'm doing about 40+ flights per year and movies/music make flights much more palatable. Thanks for the suggestions! Scott

These look like a great solution! For the money, I'm going to try them out.
edit: Just realized they aren't blutooth

Yeah, sorry. I traveled in the pre-blutooth era....They are obsolete by today's standards. I used them with an old iPod. Just call me dinosaur! Chuck

I do rather like the V-moda headphones. That you can customize them too is an added bonus.
