RELEASE NOTES:
HOW TO CHECK YOUR CURRENT FIRMWARE VERSION:
To check what version of firmware you currently have... go to MENU | SETUP | ABOUT.
The number listed as "MCU Version" is your current firmware version.
HOW TO INSTALL THE FIRMWARE UPDATE:
- copy the appropriate firmware file onto the main folder of a FAT formatted USB stick.
- insert the USB stick into the "Update" port.
- go to MENU | SETUP | ABOUT | SOFTWARE UPDATE and follow the prompts
(the update should occur automatically if you power the unit on while the stick is already inserted).
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU TRY TO INSTALL THE SAME FIRMWARE VERSION AGAIN?:
If the unit detects that you are attempting to reinstall the existing firmware version it will skip the update.
(So there is no point in trying to re-flash the unit with the current firmware.)
IMPROVED:
- helps with ticks and pops in various situations that are the result of mute timing variations
(this will especially help with ticks and pops for users who are using ARC/eARC).
- fixes the bug with manually entered distance settings for the subwoofer not taking effect.
- fixes the issue where EmoQ will repeatedly fail to "pass" for no reason in certain speaker configurations.
- better overall subwoofer performance after EmoQ calibration.
