Hi all,
New here, and new to owning Emotiva products. I will start with the customer service has been outstanding.
Purchased new BasX TA1 and coupled with Adcom 5500 and Klipsch 5.5s. Sounds awesome.
However, I have returned the first two units due to the VOLUME KNOB on the unit itself being inoperative. All unboxing, unpacking, putting in my rack were all done extremely carefully as you can imagine. I find it impossible that I would have broken 3x units in the same manner. Knob is solid, not loose, turns normal, and when pushed will mute the sound, however it does not control the volume up and down. The remote control works to change the volume but not the knob on the unit itself.
To other BasX TA1 owners: Have you had any issues with your volume knobs on the unit itself? If so, is it possible this is being underreported because most people use the remote to control the volume?
Emotiva Customer Service has been awesome, but I don't think Emotiva is in the mood for a third return and neither am I, so trying to solve the issue.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated, am I missing something very easy?
