Unless I missed somewhere in my searches. I just learned today that Upgrade for Life program was not in fact, for life... I asked of sales today and was informed that both the 40% reduction card program (which I knew finished in 2021) and the 25% for life program are closed. If anyone had heard otherwise please comment below.

But for UFL, if you made a qualifying purchase before the program officially ended, you are still entitled to the benefit and will be for Emotiva's life (or yours... whichever ends first).

It's an old thread and sometimes newer employees just don't know...

Just a reminder, though, that the UFL discount only applies to processors at full retail price. The current G3 processors are already heavily discounted... So the UFL discount may not apply in this case.

Where do you see heavily discounted prices on the G3's, the XMC-2 still shows $2499, I remember looking at it in 2023 and was calculating what it woul;d be for me to buy one with my UFL, it was $2499 at that time as well, gets one $624.75 USD off Chad

The original prices were as follows... XMC-2: $2,999 USD RMC-1L: $3,999 USD RMC-1: $4,999 USD

It seems the RMC-1 has already been discounted the same amount as UFL would offer, but the other two have a smaller discount. Possibly Emotiva would honor UFL against the original final retail prices, which would save a little more on the XMC-2 and RMC-1L?

I do vaguely recall that and which might have been the price right before the current price reduction. And yes, I do think that it's worth inquiring about the "UFL pricing". It never hurts to ask... especially if the UFL pricing were to be even just a little bit lower.

Not much point in UFL if you can just wait for EOL discount hahaha, I mean I'm in Canada so add 35% in exchange rate alone, even the internet direct stuff is no longer affordable, I mean by the time I pay the exchange and taxes on a XMC-2 I could buy a used car, I don't remember the XMC-2 being $2999 or $3199, that's insanity to even think that, the XMC-2 would be over $5000 to me up here

I would likely use a receiver from Denon, Yamaha, Marantz, Onkyo, etc connected to amp(s). I'm thankful for the upgrade path that is getting more expensive with time. Just my .02.
