Just started having this issue, Error" No Disc". I bought a CD lens cleaner disc from Amazon and ran it several times with no luck. I called, Emotiva and was told they have no parts to repair this. Anyone know the part number for the CD player on this unit. I have searched Ebay and all over the internet with no luck. Thanks.

Did you happen to source a drive? I chatted with Emotiva about a replacement drive for both an Erc 2 and 3 but they have no parts. I don’t think I will look into a 4 if parts for these units are impossible to source when a new model comes out.

This is the problem with disc players in general. Even the mainstream manufacturers tend to run out of parts, especially optical drives as the player ages. And they don't restock or contract to have additional units manufactured. I ran into this with a Nakamichi OMS-7 cd player. Started to skip. Tech said it needed a new optical drive. No longer available. Might have been able to source one fom China, but that was hit or miss. Sold it for parts. Same thing for Sony units.
For the most part, these things are disposable. If you really thought you might want to keep a new unit going for many years, I suppose you could buy parts while available and store them till you needed them, but who does that?
I agree with Chad...open it up...
