My older XMC-2 that has dad the eARC/HDMI2 board upgrades a few months ago, seem to have conked out in the middle of a show...just lost sound.
I rebooted and it get stuck booting worth he boo bar just below the "O" of the "EMOTIVA" and sits there.
If I power of and hold the start button and power on into test menu, and run the Loopback Tests - after waiting for a few mins - I get a a EC1 Loopback - Failed.
Any one know of a workaround to get this to boot correctly, I really don't want to loose 6 days to ship to back to Emotiva!

I was having bootup issues on my XMC-2 and had to send it back (twice) to get it fixed. They were pretty quick at Emotiva to get it turned around but the shipping in my case (4 trips) was a killer.

I wouldn't count on a quick turn around currently. I dropped my XMC-2 off at their lobby around lunchtime 3 weeks ago. It took 6 business days to get into the queue, two days to diagnose and fix, and one day back to my house 30 miles away from their HQ. I had the power supply, HDMI board, and front panel board replaced. So, plan on a week just sitting from the time it gets there before they get to it.

That is a communications fault and does Emotiva to make it right again.

Given support troubleshooting guidance, I was advised to unplug all digital inputs/outputs and reboot.
This worked! Its claimed that other cables/devices might be misbehaving. On successful reboot I just plugged everything back in as was, and no restart of other devices, so read as you will there.
They advised it would need to be sent in if this did not work.
I post this as it might help others!
Of note when the HDMI board was upgraded, testing showed other issues:
Upgraded HDMI board to eARC HDMI board. Replaced power supply. Replaced ECC1 board. Installed and verified latest firmware version 3.2. Completed power cycle testing. Completed and passed 100% Audio Precision factory testing specifications.
Let’s see if it remains stable.
