Hi,
I have a Sherbourn multichannel amplifier PA 7-350, very pleased with the amp but have got a problem. A lighting incident damaged it and I need to find spare parts. My repair guy have identified the problem to the card in the front, K7-350V03, but we are not able to find this anywhere.
Is there anyone here who possibly knows how to get hold of spareparts to sherbourne?
I have been in contact with Emotiva customer support, but no reply so far.

It depends on what it needs. If it is the micro controller you are out of luck. Spares gone long ago. Transistors and so on should be easily sourced.

Thanks a lot for your reply!
My repairguy have localized the problem to a shortcut on microprocessor "U2" at the frontcard specified to K7-350V03...assume no hope to find spares then...maybe another malfunctioning PA 7-350 for another reason...

Unless Emo has any old spare boards, I’d say your only chance might be to find someone else with a 350 to part out (and hopefully not the same problem).

Hi,
I just got feedback from Emotiva, no spares for Sherbourn available...difficult to digest this, but only chance seems to find another malfunctioning 350...

Using short run parts is the main reason I'm done buying Emotiva amps. (They claim that they can't repair my 1st gen XPA-2). Their processors on the other hand still have that special something that still sets them apart. Yes they still use short run parts. But with processors, you will probably want to upgrade anyways.
When they bought Sherbourn, we realized that they were ending a brand. But like most of the boutique brands, they bought cutting edge ICs that quickly got superseded. Which means that they then got upgraded to another configuration.
