Hi, I am an Emotiva newbee......I am installing the MR1l in place of a Denon AVR. Wow, talk about a difference. I am struggling with the setup. I have a 9.2.4 Dolby Atmos system (am using an external amp for the rears). Dolby Atmos seems to be connected correctly. I have the TV connected via ARC, my gaming PC connected to the TV, an Apple TV and a Oppo DVD player connected via HDMI. Also trying to setup a min-pc for music which will be connected via HDMI with analog out. This was all working on my Denon.
Setup is...trying. I have looked on Youtube for setup instructions, but have not found any. The manual is not helping me much, I am afraid. Getting too old for this....
Is there a way, like "regular" AVR's, to do the setup visually on the TV? I can't seem to find out what button and configuration will work. I want to setup the Audio mode for each device and setup the music PC to out via Analog (which I have plugged in). Is there an easy way to do this?
Thanks for any help! Feeling like I am starting over.....

Hmmm, I don't have the MR1L myself. I use something different, but looking on page 23 starting and then into 24 looks like they show how the on screen display and component assignments work. This right from the user manual I downloaded from Emotiva's sight proper. cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2572/6926/files/BasX_MR1L_User_Manual_v12.pdf?v=1687882059 Identical from what came in the box with your MRL1. It is different then the Denon but not by a bunch. Similar actually to my Anthem setup. If you are still running into an impasse, please feel free to talk to Emotiva Support. They live with this everyday. Damon, Jake and all are really cool. If you get Keith he is really amazing too. You won't be stuck long. Hope this helps.
