I picked up a used UMC-200 and made repairs to the power supply by replacing the C7, C18, and C19 capacitors. This unit has the 1.52.02.52 firmware installed.
It boots up fine and mostly works OK. My question is about the volume resetting after the unit comes out of standby, it is always 0.0 dB on the HDMI sources. I set the unit to standby with the volume set to 67.0 and the next day, after turning the unit on, the volume is 0.0.
Is this a feature or is this another bad capacitor elsewhere in the UMC-200? This is very frustrating as resetting the volume is an unnecessary step each time I want to use my system.
