Dear Emotiva team, could you please advice right scenario to handle my issue with 2 output HDMI outputs. My setup: RMC-1L as a processor 2 ARcam PA 240 as a power amps for front speakers Arcam PA720 7.1 power amp for center, Suuround & Atmos My primary video device is JVC N5 Projector, connected to HDMI output 2 List of connected HDMI sources : AppleTV,PS5,MacBook
Due to fact that in some scenarios (music) I need to see picture, but running projector its inconvenient (daylight) I have attached small monitor (1080p) as a secondary video device to HDMI output 1 I have issue with a picture (continues blinking on monitor). My assumption that all hdmi outputs running on HDMI ver 2. May I change configuration for HDMI output 1 from 2.0 to 1.4 ? I can not find any info in the documentation. Really appreciate for you answers & advices, Alexander

May I change configuration for HDMI output 1 from 2.0 to 1.4 ? No. There are no settings for the outputs. Both HDMI Outputs default to the lowest resolution when there are two displays connected and powered on at the same time. When one display is "off", it may still be holding on to the handshake and can interfere with the signal going to the other display. Remove the HDMI cable from the output going to the projector and see if the monitor will now display the video signal properly. If it does, then you know the projector is not happy sharing the output from the RMC-1L with the monitor.

You could also get something like an HDFury to be able to feed two different resolution video displays from the HDMI 2 output.
