Anyone know if there is a universal remote that would work with the UMC-200 pre/pro? Thanks!

Well... I'm using an old Sony learning remote with a UMC-1. There are a number of Sony learning remotes you can buy and as long as you still have the original UMC-200 remote you can get one of these Sony's to learn each key. I don't know of any universal remotes that already know Emotiva devices.

However, I can control the volume with the firestick remote when using the firestick which is helpful.

If you have Harmony remote, you should be able to add it as a device and then learn it to whatever universal remote you have.

If you haven't already, I'd try calling Emotiva and see if they have a replacement remote. I'd bet that the BASX MC1 remote has many of the same commands if not all of them as well.

Ok, this is embarrassing. I thought to myself, wait, I could loan you my UMC-200 remote so that you could get a programmable remote to program it's keys. Except, I can't find mine, really bad, as I'd probably switch to the 200 if the UMC-1 had problems. I've got both the cheapo and metal remotes for the UMC-1, and the remote for the MC-700, but of course the 200's is no where to be found (yet?).
I searched around and found a website, though looks like in China, called Remotes World, that claims to have a replacement remote for the UMC-200 - not the original, but a "generic" remote that is programmed with all of the UMC-200 codes. Here's the URL for that page, but looking closely at each, I don't see how you would be able to change HDMI inputs on the replacement remote, possibly other things:

Good-ish news... I found my remote (duh, in a drawer full of other miscellaneous remotes). Bad-ish news, it had the original batteries in it which were caked with crud. As long as that can be cleaned up I can still use it. We'll see.

The last straw was the remote that came with my Velodyne HGS 18…. Which suffered from the same crap, however, fortunate was able to salvage without a problem. Besides not having leak problems it’s much easier to keep the remotes operating with plenty of juice with nothing to do but swap them out

Yes! Nowadays we do use rechargeables for just about all. We should probably ignore remotes that supply regular batteries from the get-go. Good-ish news...
