Hi guys,
I'm in the right location as this is a stupid question, but one I can't appear to find elsewhere. As per my question, I have the Polk Legend L800 speakers where they don't recommend a fully balanced power amplifier, as the SDA technology of the speakers will not work as designed. I'm currently running them on a Gen3 XPA-9 but interested to know if the RCA connections counteract the fully balanced aspect of the XPA-DR2 amp? I'd assume the XLR connections maintain the balanced differential technology of the XPA-DR2 amp. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance and regards - Gary.

Geebo is correct. You are what is termed single ended or unbalanced. Meaning you do not have the inverted leg of the signal. Also the additional feature of balanced that is common mode noise rejection.
Is it a big deal to most? Nope! Got long runs and can run balanced. Yeah a great plus. Otherwise more "Audiophile" fodder for the arm chair dudes.

Thanks gents - so if I use the RCA option on an XPA-DR2 in from my Denon AVC-X4800H (RCA pre-outs only anyway), the XPA-DR2 will work fine and not affect the SDA technology of the L800's then. That's good to know. Thanks once again for your assistance.
