a few days ago it took me 2-3 trys to turn it on, now it takes about 2-3 minutes of trying, after its on its working fine

is my MC-700 dying?
can it be saved/fixed somehow?

It appears that you likely have a failing power supply board.

Contact Emotiva directly to see if they can still repair it (if parts are still available) or, if not, maybe they can offer you the schematics so that you can have it repaired locally.
