I'm not diggin' those 7 vertical meters. I'm not a fan of them on my XPA-2 either. I think 7 of them dancing around will look gimmicky...although I'm assuming they can be turned off. Just my $.02.... The ability to turn off the meters would be a welcome addition. |

All the recent amps have the ability to shut off the meters so no worries guys.

I don't recall seeing a 7 channel power amp with 7 VU meters before. In fact, I don't even recall seeing one with 7 led meters before.

So this question is geared towards the Emo staff, but if anyone else wants to chime in, go for it.
What line of amps (competition) is this thing going to be taking on?
Earthquake?
Sunfire Cinema Grand?
I"m struggling even to think of big wattage, semi budget conscious amplifiers. I hope you do well with this endeavor.

What's the price tag on that bad boy? I'd Google it, but I'm scared too!   |

Who needs 10 channels? Matter of fact, who needs 7 channels like that? Give me an XPR-5 with 400W per channel, and I'll pick up a UPA-2 for the rears. I now have Paradigm Studio 100's as fronts, the matching center, and Studio 60's as surrounds, so they can handle the power, but the little Mini Monitors in the rear?!? They're sweating their veneer off at the thought of 400W.... But, chances are if I can find a buyer for my IPS-1, I'll still be getting the XPR--7.... |

That is just cruel. They had to show a picture of the XPA-1 sitting on top of the XPR-7. Now I really want a stack of two XPA-1's and the XPA-7  |
