What about a XPR 5?? I have an XPA 5 now just curious if any thoughts of "hot rodding" it... XPR-5 would be nice... I think it was mentioned that they are working on a XPR-2, or at least it's on the drawing board.

That is much later down the road though.

hummm that thing look pretty darn tall compaired to the xpa-1. I'd need a whole new stand AGAIN! lol It took me 2 months to find the one I have now to fit all my gear (thanks to bigred)
Is there any LxWxH? looks like it won't fit in too many stands.

Is there any LxWxH? looks like it won't fit in too many stands. Well if that concept art is to scale, then the only thing I can't give you is Length/Depth. I assumed that the XPA-1 spec of a 7.75" height was including the feet. XPR7 would be 9.7" tall, 17" wide, and for length/depth. I know you can find racks with 10" clearances, but finding them with the desired depth and weight support can be tricky. I had already planned on custom building an entertainment stand to fit some other components. Might wait to finalize the plans to see if this amp materializes within budget. EDIT: Oops, beat me to it! What's a type of measurement is 'RU'?

Rack Units I believe is what it stands for. Basically a server style rack (they are used else where like HT's) it would take up 6 of the single rack units.

I've been asking for months about the height, and now you give us "6 RU"?!? In inches, or centimeters if you prefer, please!!! EDIT: Ok, so it'd be 1.75 inches times 6? Or, 10.5 inches tall? As for weight, I figured the answer would be "heavy" so I didn't even bother asking.....

^^And "dork" is my standard unit of measurement for people who can't understand why a lot of us wouldn't know what in the blue h*ll "RU" stands for and would prefer inches or centimeters...

Wow, now that is some serious amplification. Anyone else doing it would make it impossible to own. I like that XPR-7. Emotiva just is about to squash the other guys again in the performance/value multi-channel amplifier front...again. ;D

RU refers to "a Rack Unit." One rack unit is 1.75 inches.
